In short
- Only cookies needed for the website to work.
- No advertising, audience measurement or cross-site tracking.
- You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time.
A summary to help you read. The full text below is what applies.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser so it can remember something between pages or visits, such as a plan you selected. This policy lists the cookies the ViewerFirst website uses and how to control them. It completes the privacy policy.
Our approach
As few as possible. We only use cookies the website needs to work or to give you a feature you asked for. No advertising cookies, no audience measurement, nothing that follows you onto other websites, and nothing sold.
Fonts, images and videos are served from our own website, so reading our pages places no third-party cookies.
The cookies we use
Most of them are only set when you use the feature concerned.
| Cookie | What it does | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| wp_woocommerce_session_… | Keeps your order while you go through checkout. | 2 days |
| woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart | Remember the plan you chose so checkout shows the right order. | Session |
| vf_ref | Set when you arrive with a partner's code or link: applies your 10% saving and credits the partner. | 30 days |
| wordpress_test_cookie | Checks that your browser accepts cookies before a partner signs in. | Session |
| wordpress_logged_in_…, wordpress_sec_… | Keep partners signed in to their area, securely. | Session, or 14 days with “Remember me” |
These cookies are strictly necessary for the feature you use, or for the partner saving offered to you, so the law allows them without prior consent. If we ever add measurement or marketing cookies, we will update this page and ask for your consent first.
Preferences stored in your browser
Some pages remember small choices in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie, for example the device you picked in the setup guide. This stays on your device, is never sent to us, and can be cleared with your browsing data.
Payment and messaging services
When you follow our payment instructions, you use the pages of our payment provider. When you write to us on WhatsApp or Telegram, you use their apps or websites. These services may set their own cookies under their own policies, which we do not control.
Controlling cookies
You can view, delete and block cookies in your browser settings; Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge each explain how in their help pages.
If you block the cookies above, checkout may lose your order, a partner saving may not apply and partners will not be able to sign in.
Changes
We update this page whenever the cookies used on the website change. The date at the top shows the current version. Questions about cookies are welcome through the contact page.
